NBC New York  – A New Jersey woman has been indicted on an animal cruelty charge after being accused of tossing a family’s small dog into traffic during a parking dispute, killing the animal.

Twenty-five-year-old Haniyyah Barnes of Newark also faces charges of burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
