CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville woman was arrested Wednesday after police say she seriously injured her husband with a pair of garden shears and then rammed his car while he was en route to the hospital.

According to Clarksville police spokesperson Jim Knoll, 23-year-old Sierra Williams was trying to scratch her husband’s car with the large scissors when he tried to stop her and she sliced his hand.

“The guy is working on his car. The next thing you know it gets physical.  She grabs some shears, scratches up the car.  He is trying to stop her from scratching up the car and he gets his hands cut in the meantime,” Knoll explained.

According to investigators, the husband’s friends rushed to his aid and took him to the hospital.
