A politically incorrect Twitter post, offering curse-filled reasons to vote against Mitt Romney and for Barack Obama for a second term as president, went viral this week.

The list was posted on October 3rd by a popular Twitter user called D’Brickashaw, who also goes by “Dragonfly Jonez.” Jonez tweeted complaints about Romney during the previous night’s presidential debate, including the criticism that Romney reminded him “of every boss I ever hated.”

The hand-written top ten list, uploaded to Twitpics, included that and other complaints. The list gained even more attention, including from the entertainment website TMZ, Gawker, and the conservative Drudge Report after it was retweeted and uploaded to Instragram by rapper Snoop Dog (now calling himself Snoop Lion), who was initially, and erroneously, credited with creating it. (TMZ later corrected their story.)

Drudge seized on the more inflammatory reasons Dragonfly Jonez gave for opposing Romney, including “He’s a white n–gga” and “He looks like he says n—ger all the time.” But many of the reasons were more conventional (at least in part), like “he always interrupts and talks over people like he’s better than them,” an apparent reference to the debate. In the second line of that complaint, Jonez vows to “beat the sh-t out of” Romney, presumably, if he were to interrupt him (another line falsely attributed to Snoop).

The one reason repeated more than once on the list, which seemed clearly to be for comedic effect: “this mutha—-‘s name is Mitt.”

Jonez also listed reasons to support Barack Obama, including: “he’s a black n–ga,” “he’s hugged Beyonce before and sniffed her neck,” “we use the same hair clippers,” “he smokes Newports,” and “Michelle got a fat a–.”

The list, which caused hilarity in some quarters, and outrage in others, has given Jonez a burst of Twitter fame. He explained in a Saturday Tweet: “I made that list to have a good laugh with the people on twitter who I f— with. I had no idea it would take the world by storm.”
