J.Cole drops new single 'Miss America'

Roc Nation rapper and Jay-Z protégé J.Cole is back in the studio and has dropped some new heat.

“Miss America” is the first single from Cole’s upcoming second album, Born Sinner, and judging from the hunger in his voice, Cole World refuses to let you forget about him.

DJ Khaled teams up with J.Cole, Big KRIT and Kendrick Lamar for ‘They Ready’

“Miss America” is an introspective track where J.Cole lets his pen bleed on the beat, touching on subjects that range from his haters to the hypocrisy of the black church and the struggles of new-found fame.

Cole is one of the few rappers of this current generation that can make pop singles as well as concept tracks but, as he raps at the very end of ‘Miss America,’ he feels  that “they’ll never play this sh*t on the radio” due to its heavy subject matter.

Hopefully he’s wrong, because this track is dope.
