Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts returned home from the hospital on Friday night after a week.
Roberts shared in a blog post that she decided to view her stay as a “tune up.”
Roberts is currently on leave from Good Morning America to focus on her health.
The broadcaster was diagnosed with MDS, a rare blood disease. After finding her sister, Sally-Ann, to be a perfect match, Roberts underwent a bone marrow transplant in September and spent 30 days in the hospital recuperating.
In the recent blog, Roberts also shares that during her week in the hospital she was interviewed by Sally-Ann, who flew to NYC from New Orleans to be with her sister.
A portion of the interview will air on Good Morning America Tuesday morning.
