Jay-Z has released a 24-minute video documentary about his eight concerts that opened the new Barclays Center in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York.
Where I’m From: JAY Z Barclays Center Documentary features the iconic rapper preparing for the shows, discussing how he initially got involved with the building of the Center and owning a piece of the Nets franchise.
It also features Jay-Z taking the subway like a normal person (where an elderly woman asks him if he’s “famous”) and his wife Beyoncé is in the final show.
The rapper chose the perfect day to release the documentary; on his 42nd birthday.
It seems like Beyoncé won’t be that far behind Jay with her upcoming documentary set to debut in February on HBO.
