Embattled comedian Katt Williams has threatened to beat up Django Unchained director Quentin Tarantino if he sees him.
In a run-in with TMZ Katt Williams told a reporter, “Quentin Tarantino thinks he can say the n-word. But I checked with all of Ni**adom and nobody knows where he got his pass from. I hope he didn’t get it from Samuel L. Jackson and Jamie Foxx cause they aren’t going to help you when I see you.”
Williams’ comments come just weeks after Spike Lee called Tarantino’s hit slavery-themed film “disrespectful to my ancestors.”
Both the legendary director and one of the most successful African-American comedians have agreed Tarantino’s repeated use of the n-word throughout Django was offensive.
When TMZ’s correspondent attempted to compare Tarantino with Steven Spielberg, Williams said, “Quentin Tarantino is no Steven Spielberg. Steven Spielberg doesn’t wanna be black, Quentin Tarantino thinks he is. So when he meets a real ni**a, we’ll see if he is or not”
This latest rant on Django follows a statement Williams’ made last month in which he criticized the film and called Jamie Foxx, the star of Django, gay.
“F**k Jamie Foxx and the Django Unchained check he cashed,” he said.
“They offered me the script and I said, ‘Any ni**a that do this deserves to die. ‘ And the next thing I heard, Jamie Foxx was in makeup,” Williams also claimed.
Williams has been in and out of jail over the past few months for public fights, possession of a stolen gun, and child endangerment.
