At 18 months old, PJ Watson was inside the daycare center at the federal building when the Oklahoma City bombing attacks occurred. Watson survived the attack, but faces many severe medical problems today.
The Oklahoma City Community Foundation was entrusted with over $14 million in donations to help the victims of the bombing; however, Watson and his grandmother say that they have not received any monetary help for his healthcare. Instead of using the funds to aid the victims, the foundation is diverting these victims to use governmental healthcare programs such as Medicaid.
The president of the foundation says that they steer these victims to governmental programs because it helps keep the funds solvent.
