On Saturday’s Melissa Harris-Perry, Melissa sat down with author Taiye Selasi, whose debut novel, Ghana Must Go, is topping critics’ lists and attracting national attention.
The London-born author, whose parents are Ghanaian and Nigerian, is a protégé of celebrated author Toni Morrison, who pushed her to complete her first novel; which she says she was able to complete by ending a bad relationship, and focusing on her work.
