Long Island principal accused of sex with teen boy he met online

NBC New York – A Long Island middle school principal was arrested for allegedly forcing a 16-year-old boy he met on a social networking site to engage in sexual acts with him at his home, police said.

John O’Mard, principal of the J.W. Dodd Middle School in Freeport, is accused of using the Internet to arrange an in-person meeting with the boy last September.

Once they met, O’Mard allegedly drove the boy to his house and forced him to engage in sexual acts, Nassau County police said.

O’Mard was charged with four counts of criminal sexual act.
