One of hip-hop’s most popular DJs and radio personalities, Mister Cee, was arrested over the weekend for allegedly soliciting a male prostitute. It was his third arrest on prostitution charges in three years.
According to the New York Daily News, Cee, whose real name is Calvin LeBrun, was in Brooklyn just before midnight Thursday when he allegedly approached a young man he believed to a male prostitute. The man was an undercover police officer, and arrested LeBrun.

“I’m not gay,” Mister Cee said Monday morning as he took to the airwaves on New York’s Hot 97, where he is employed, to address the arrest and to “clear the air” regarding his sexual orientation. Cee also announced he has placed himself under a self-imposed suspension from on-air activities until further notice.
Mister Cee pleaded guilty in June 2012 to loitering after being caught receiving oral sex from a male prostitute named Lawrence Campbell.
