Katy Perry and Chief Keef had a brief war of words on Twitter last night.
The pop singer, according to her Twitter timeline, recently heard the Chicago rapper’s single “Hate Being Sober,” and wasn’t a fan of the song’s message promoting inebriation.
Just heard a new song on the radio called “I hate being sober” I now have serious doubt for the world.

The controversial “I Don’t Like” rapper wasn’t pleased with Perry’s opinion. He tweeted a NSFW reply back to the singer, telling her she can perform oral sex on him and he would “slap the sh*t out of her.”
Rapper Chief Keef tweets misogynistic lyric on heels of Rick Ross controversy: Is hip-hop hopeless?
The 19-year-old rapper has become a polarizing figure in hip-hop over the past year for multiple reasons.
As prominent figure in the Chicago rap drill scene, Keef unfortunately is known more for his police rap sheet than actual rap records. Wishing harm on a high-profile figure via social media isn’t the wisest decision, however Perry responded back graciously, claiming she was a fan.
I’m a fan of your “Don’t Like” video tbh. I was really just having a general opinion on our generations desire to be constantly intoxicated.

Keef then replied back, not with another shot at the “I Kissed a Girl” singer, but an apology, which few anticipated.
@katyperry Oh ? Im Sorry Too Then ?

Did Katy Perry have to apologize for voicing her opinion? Or does Chief Keef need tougher skin?
