Though Miley Cyrus has been getting most of the attention in the wake of the Video Music Awards, they were some quality hip-hop performances during the show.
Drake, in anticipation of his third album, Nothing Was The Same, did a medley of new music including the popular anthem “Started From the Bottom” that was well received by the crowd.
However, the mood became even more dramatic when Kanye West took to the stage.

Popular comedian and Grio’s 100 alumnus Issa Rae, known for her quick wit, mashed Kanye dancing with the 90’s sitcom Living Single‘s theme song. The results are hilarious.
