“When you think hip-hop, you think Nicole Richie, so it’s obviously time for Nicole to launch her rap career,” reads the description under the celebrity’s latest video for her web series, Candidly Nicole.
The latest episode of the AOL reality show documents Richie and her satirical sense of humor as she meets the challenges of making her first rap single as “Nicki Rich.”
With the help of up-and-coming rapper Ebone Hoodrich, the outspoken star meets in the studio to discuss the preliminary steps in producing her song before the two head behind the mic and record the track.
“Here’s the thing, I’m a huge fan of rap music but I also need music that I can relate to,” she said in the 4-minute long video.
Instead, the star decided to rap about things that hit more close to home like her new hair-do, gluten-free dishes and Plantar Fasciitis (inflammation of the foot).
