Minnesota Vikings player Adrian Peterson lost his 2-year-old son Friday after the toddler died from injuries suffered from an alleged assault.
Joseph Patterson, the 27-year-old boyfriend of the child’s mother, has been charged with aggravated assault and battery of an infant after a medical examination showed the child had undergone abuse.
Peterson’s family is mourning the death of the young boy — meanwhile, fans, celebrities and fellow athletes have tweeted their support and love to the NFL star.
