Christina Applegate reprises her role as the strong and determined newswoman Veronica Corningstone in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
The film features a slew of cameos from Hollywood stars including Tina Fey, Sasha Baron Cohen, Will Smith, Liam Neeson, Kanye West and Drake.
In an interview with theGrio, Applegate opens up about a scene she shot with Drake where he tries to hit on her while she’s walking down the street.
“He’s a handsome kid, that guy. He’s a sweetheart. Drake is a big sweetheart,” she said.

“Originally Veronica does turn back and wink at him. I guess they didn’t want to have that element of it to make me seem like that woman,” Applegate revealed. “We did a couple of different versions. We did one where I turn back to him and winked at him and then the version that we now have, which is me being offended by it.”
The Married with Children star also discusses a musical scene that was deleted from the final cut of Anchorman 2.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, is now playing in theaters nationwide.
