NJ woman charged in fatal botched butt-lift

A New Jersey woman was arrested and charged in the death of a 22-year-old Queens woman who died from a botched butt-lift in July 2013.

Tamira Mobley, 28, was charged with manslaughter and felony assault for the death of Tamara Blaine.

Blaine met Mobley at the Liberty Inn hotel in Manhattan. About two hours after meeting, Mobley called the front desk and told them to call 911, reports the NY Daily News.

Mobley was present when emergency responders arrived at the Meatpacking District hotel but left shortly thereafter. Blaine was pronounced dead at Roosevelt Hospital, and autopsy reports showed she died from silicone injections, reports the NY Post.

Mobley admitted to knowing Blaine and being with her that day, but denies administering any type of injections.

The beautician is being held on $100,000 bail.
