Billy Dee Williams' awkward 'Star Wars' dance earns mixed reviews on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Hollywood legend Billy Dee Williams reprised his most famous role on Dancing with the Stars last night but he didn’t earn the same raves for his performance he received over 30 years ago.

The 77-year-old dressed up like his swashbuckling Star Wars character Lando Calrissian and performed opposite droids and stormtroopers from the popular sci-fi series.

However, Williams’ weak skills on the dance floor overshadowed all the costumed creativity.

“Bill, may the force be with you. I can never forgive you for freezing Hans Solo,” joked judge Bruno Tonioli. “You played it dainty and I wanted bigger and more powerful.”

Williams, who admits to having had two separate hip replacement surgeries, said he was “doing pretty good for a 77-year-old, but I can’t do all the things I did when I was a young lad.”
