With the deadline for Americans to register for Obamacare fast approaching, members of the Congressional Black Caucus are using social media to get the message out.
Several lawmakers recently posed for photos holding signs which read: #blackmenenroll.
Although over 5 million citizens have signed up for affordable health care through the government, the numbers are still a long way off from the Obama administration’s initial goals.
Young people, and black males in their twenties in particular, are crucial to making the program work.
The official deadline for signing up is March 31. If you don’t have some form of health insurance by that day, you could face a financial penalty.
