Sixteen-year-old Grace Bush earned a college degree before receiving her high school diploma.
The amazing feat occurred at Florida Atlantic University High School in Boca Raton.
Bush participated in a dual enrollment program that is offered at the school, which enables students to earn credits towards college degrees, reports CBS Miami.
The teen started earning college credits at the age of 13 and took summer courses in an effort to finish within four years.
Bush’s mother, Gisla, told the Sun Sentinel she knew she was advanced from a young age.
“She was very accelerated,” Gisla said. “She started reading at 2, and she could perform as well as her older sister, who was three years her senior.”
Bush will officially graduate from high school Friday and plans to attend FAU for her master’s degree in public administration.
She plans to seek a law degree and hopes to one day become chief justice of the United States.
