Solange, Beyoncé and Jay Z have yet to release a statement regarding the footage TMZ obtained of what appears to be Solange attacking Jay Z in an elevator at the Standard Hotel in New York City.
However, Solange’s actions are speaking louder than her words.
Monday afternoon Solange deleted nearly all pictures of Beyoncé from her personal Instagram account, including a photo of the sisters from the night of the Met Gala.
The most recent photo of Beyoncé and Solange is from February, 2013 and shows the sisters posing with a friend, accompanied by the caption “Girls moment.”
Beyoncé took to Instagam hours after the alleged altercation, posting a message hinting at relationship turmoil in her life:
Lord, I lift up every one of my relationships to You and ask You to bless them. I release all my relationships to You and pray that Your will be done in each of them.
Beyoncé and Jay Z have appeared together publicly several times since the alleged hotel elevator ‘brawl.’
The pair took in a Brooklyn Nets game on Saturday night. Beyoncé posted photos of the two courtside sitting next to actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
Monday, Jay Z and Beyoncé arrived at the Nets game and took their seats during the 2nd quarter. The couple was photographed smiling and behaving as they typically do.
A publicist for the Standard Hotel provided the following statement exclusively to theGrio regarding the leaked video footage of Solange attacking Jay Z:
“We are shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system and the confidentiality that we count on providing our guests. We are investigating with the utmost urgency the circumstances surrounding the situation and, as is our customary practice, will discipline and prosecute the individuals involved to our fullest capacity.”
