Halle Berry ordered to pay $16,000 a month in child support to ex-boyfriend

Halle Berry has been ordered by the court to pay her ex a large monthly sum in child support fees.

According to court documents filed May 30, the Oscar-winning actress must pay her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry $16,000/month to support their 6-year-old daughter Nahla.

The cost amounts to nearly $200,000 per year, and Berry must pay the monthly fee until Nahla turns 19 years old or graduates from high school, whichever comes first.

A Los Angeles court also awarded Aubry $115,000 in retroactive support, reports PeopleMeanwhile, the couple maintains 50-50 joint custody of their daughter.

Court documents report that Berry’s gross income for nine months prior to Sept. 30, 2012, totaled nearly $4.7 million. Meanwhile, Aubry’s gross-expense income in the 12 months ending Oct. 31, 2012 was $192,921.

In addition to the monthly child support payments, Berry is also paying for Nahla’s private school tuition in full along with 50 percent of any medical expenses not covered by her insurance plan, reports E! News.

Berry gave birth to Nahla in 2008 and dated Aubry for several years before splitting in April 2010.

She married French actor Olivier Martinez in September 2013, and the couple welcomed their first child together, Maceo, in October.
