USMNT goalie Tim Howard had the game of his career yesterday during the U.S.’s devastating 2-1 loss to Belgium in extra time.
Howard made 16 saves throughout the match, setting a new World Cup record.
Fans watching the game quickly took to the internet to create memes and even started the hashtag #ThingsTimHowardCouldSave.
After his heroic performance, BuzzFeed even noted Howard’s yearbook quote:
