Trouble in paradise has been brewing for quite some time between Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, but that’s just what rumors say.
In an interview with Yahoo’s The Insider, Cannon was quoted saying that they have been sleeping in separate houses for a few months already.
Tired of keeping silent for too long, he took to Twitter earlier this week and vented his feelings about these rumors and how recent quotes attributed to him weren’t real at all.
His series of tweets started about how he and Carey have not been forthcoming with their personal lives — causing people to quickly paint a negative picture about their relationship.
He claims that he has never made (and never will make) any statement regarding his marriage and feels infuriated that Carey is dragged into the story.
Cannon expresses gratitude to Carey for being the mother of their children, says that he will love her unconditionally and eventually continues on to tweet about the season finale of his program, Wild N Out.
Mariah Carey has yet to address these rumors, whether through interviews or social media, just yet.
I have personally been absent from social media for the past few months for obvious reasons but I feel the need to finally speak up…

During this challenging time for me and my family it saddens me that the media can be such evil bottom feeders…

Because my family & I haven't been forthcoming with personal information, people are quick to paint negative pictures and spread rumours

For the record I NEVER have, nor will I make a statement regarding my marriage.

So whatever your favorite gossip outlet is reporting has been created within their own imagination…

At this difficult time I would ask all civilized people to please respect my family and this process…
— Nick Cannon (@NickCannon) September 3, 2014
What infuriates me most is to hear people slander @MariahCarey . I will forever be in debted to her for blessing me with our children…

So to see false reports in the media stating otherwise is absurd! While I would like to remain silent I can no longer allow this to happen.
— Nick Cannon (@NickCannon) September 3, 2014
I love @MariahCarey and that will never change!!!

"Don't worry about my life, worry about why you're worried about my life!"
— Nick Cannon (@NickCannon) September 3, 2014
And finally, "Trouble in Paradise" is the dumbest phrase I've ever heard! I would never say that sh!t
