An Oklahoma man allegedly attacked two former co-workers, beheading one, at a Vaughn Foods processing plant.
Alton Nolen, 30, is suspected of having attacked 54-year-old Colleen Hufford and 43-year-old Traci Johnson with a knife, reports KFOR.
Nolan, who was recently fired from the plant, attacked Hufford as soon as he entered the front office. Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis confirmed that Nolan “severed her head.”
He then began attacking Johnson with the same weapon.
The attack was finally haulted when Oklahoma County reserve deputy and former Vaughn Foods CEO shot Nolen.
Johnson and Nolen were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Reports say Nolen recently converted to Islam and was trying to get fellow co-workers to convert.
According to KFOR, Vaughn Foods released the following statement:

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of the team member we lost and all those affected. Our focus is on the safety and well-being of our employees. We will provide counseling and support for our team members and support each other through this difficult time. We are working with authorities on this active investigation and ask that you direct your questions to local law enforcement.
Local authorities have enlisted the FBI to assist in the investigation.
