Erika Jackson, wife of former American Idol judge Randy Jackson, filed for divorce Friday in Los Angeles.
Erika Jackson cited irreconcilable differences on papers she filed that will end the pair’s 18-year marriage, according to TMZ.
She wants full physical custody and joint legal custody of their 17-year-old son, Jordan. They also have a daughter who is now an adult.
Erika is requesting spousal support and for Jackson to pay her the attorney’s fees.
Erika is Jackson’s second wife. He has one other daughter from his previous marriage. Jackson’s first marriage with Elizabeth Jackson was dissolved in 1990.
The divorce news comes just a few weeks after the producer sold his estate in Tarzana, California, for $1.9 million.
