Nick Cannon’s recent split with Mariah Carey hasn’t changed anything for the former couple’s twins, the actor and host of America’s Got Talent said in an interview on Friday’s episode of The Meredith Vieria Show.
Earlier this year, Carey and Cannon split after three years of marriage.
The actor, comedian and rapper told Vieira that many of the rumors swirling around their breakup were unfounded and exaggerated. Describing his twins, Monroe and Moroccan Scott, Cannon said:
Being the fact our situation, we have always been people who have been on the go coming and going, their life hasn’t changed one bit. We spend holidays together, we do everything that we are supposed to do together as a family.
Carey is currently on tour in Asia, but she keeps “constant tabs” on her children, according to the New York Post.

“The media, they can say whatever they want to say, and obviously, because you are not giving them anything,” Cannon said. “So they kind of create all these stories and make it worse than it actually is.”
On Thursday, in an interview with E! News, Cannon denied media reports that he and Amber Rose were a couple.
“I don’t pay attention to it, because the beauty about gossip is there’s always another story tomorrow.”
