Forget controversial “sexy” Halloween costumes.
Last week, Walmart’s website was marketing an entire “Fat Girl Costumes” section. The section included costumes such as female vampires, clowns and hippies for ‘plus-size’ adults.
It didn’t go over so well with the American public.
When someone tweeted Walmart with a screenshot image of the section, the criticism on social media intensified.

Other users on Twitter let the retail giant have it:

Walmart removed the section on Monday morning. A spokesman also addressed the controversy:
This never should have been on our site. It’s unacceptable, and we apologize.
This, as they say, is not a good look.
