Ice Cube performs magic tricks with Elmo on Sesame Street

If you didn’t already know, Ice Cube is mainstream.

This week, Cube added a Sesame Street appearance with Elmo to his growing list of crossover appeal.

In the short clip, the former NWA rapper turned actor turned wholesome guy performs magic tricks and teaches Elmo what it means to be “astounding.”

At one point Cube turns himself into —yes, you guessed it — an ice cube.

Elmo finally gets a hug from Cube after he returns to his normal Cube self.
