The doors to Total Deliverance Ministries in North Philadelphia are locked this week.
According to a Philadelphia Daily News report, the church’s pastor was arrested last week, accused of sexually abusing his mentally-challenged niece.
Pastor Albert A. Young allegedly touched the 15-year-old girl sexually in the church’s ministry office back in August. Daily News reporter Morgan Zalot obtained a police affidavit, which describes Young’s alleged crime in harrowing detail:
Young was with his niece in the ministry office on the evening of Aug. 12 when he made her sit in his lap and began touching her sexually, putting his hands inside the girl’s pants, fondling her buttocks and kissing her neck […] Young continued to touch the girl, at one point pressing and rubbing his clothed genitals against her and taking her hand to make her touch him, the document says.
Here’s a sermon from Pastor Young, entitled “Turn Around” from 2011:

Young, 49, was charged with unlawful sexual contact with a minor, corruption of minors and indecent assault of a child.
Young’s preliminary hearing will take place November 19.
