Obama responds to Jordan trash talking his golf game
Last week, Michael Jordan called President Barack Obama “a s****y golfer” during an interview with Ahmad Rashad. Now, the president is doing a little trash talking of his own. On Wisconsin radio station Jammin’ 98.3 WJMR on November 3, Obama indicated that the famous basketball star might want to spend more time managing his NBA team than worrying about his golf game.
The President said, “Mike and I, we know each other, but I’ve never played golf with him. Michael wasn’t very well informed about this. I think he might’ve just been trying to give Ahmad an extra ratings boost on his show.”
He then followed it up by conceding Mike was a better golfer, saying, “But there is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am. Of course if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case.”
Jordan made the comments when he and Ahmad Rashad were discussing his golfing “dream foursome.” Jordan said that Obama had been considered, but he would pass on including the President because he was a “hack.”
Obama capped his response by saying, “He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bobcats—or the Hornets.”
