Quadruple amputee on the run in double homicide case in Florida

A quadruple amputee has been on the run in Florida from police hoping to question him about his parents’ murder.

Sean Petrozzino, 30, lost his legs, hands, and part of his arms to bacterial meningitis. Last week, after separating from his wife over financial issues, he moved back in with his parents. On Tuesday morning, after Petrozzino’s mother failed to show up to her job as a schoolteacher, both of Petrozinno’s parents were discovered dead.

Petrozzino has been qualified as a “person of interest” rather than a suspect in the case, though police caution the public that Petrozzino is armed with a gun.

Speaking with the Orlando Sentinel, a prosthetic expert said that even the handless can operate guns “without special devices.”
