Tamera Mowry ditches wig and shows off her natural hair on 'The Real'

Tamera Mowry-Housely is “keepin it real” when it comes to her hair.

The former Sister Sister star turned-co-host of the daytime syndicated talk show The Real made a bold move during Tuesday’s episode.

Mowry-Housely traded her long, straight wig for her natural curly afro.

“Growing up on TV, you guys saw my natural hair,” she said. “I have naturally curly hair. But through the years, I always straightened it, blow dried it, put a hot comb through it. I went through a rough patch with my hair that I had to do the ‘Big Chop,’ which is basically chopping all of your hair off and starting anew.”

“This is me, this is who I am. My husband loves my hair like this; he would rather me with my hair curly all day, every day,” she added.

So what do you think of Tamera’s new look? What other co-host from The Real do you want to see go all-natural?
