The BeyHive was not happy about Beck’s big win over Beyoncé at the Grammy Awards Sunday night.
After Beck’s win for Album of the Year, fans of Queen Bey reportedly took to Wikipedia to edit Beck’s page, reports E! News.
“He is the stealer of The Album of the Year award,” the page apparently read, stating that he stole the award away from “Beyoncé Knowles, the Queen of the World.”
The identity of the hackers is not yet known.
The hack came after Kanye West made headlines when he got up on stage as Beck was receiving his Grammy, bringing back memories of a similar stage-storming incident with Taylor Swift in 2009. Although West did not steal the microphone this time, instead using his stage presence as a statement, he had plenty to say afterward.
“The Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us,” West told E!. “We aren’t going to play with them no more.”
In the meantime, Beck laughed off the incident. “I was jus so excited he was coming up. He deserves to be on stage as much as anybody,” Beck told Us Weekly. “How many great records has he put out in the last five years, right?”
