Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon to appear on Dr. Phil for 'intervention'

theGRIO REPORT - Nick Gordon will appear on Dr. Phil next week and describe how he's feeling about the condition of his girlfriend Bobbi Kristina, who remains in a coma...

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Nick Gordon is reportedly heading to rehab.

According to the New York Daily News, Gordon engaged in a “dangerous drinking binge,” and is at a personal crossroads over the condition of his girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown.

Bobbi Kristina remains in a coma at a Georgia hospital.

“Hopefully he’s in rehab right now,” a source told the Daily News. “He got in a car from the hotel with his mom.”

“Things got really bad with him,” the source said. “This was about saving his life.”

Gordon’s mother had apparently contacted Dr. Phil for an intervention for suicidal thoughts, alcohol, and Xanax.

An excerpt of the Dr. Phil episode, set to air March 11, shows a worried mother relaying the guilt Gordon has been living with over not just the condition of Bobbi Kristina but the death of her mother, Whitney Houston.

“When Whitney was found, he administered CPR to her and called me as he was standing in front of her saying, ‘Mom, why couldn’t I do it? I couldn’t get air into her lungs,’” she said.

“He won’t let go of the guilt,” she told Dr. Phil.

Along with the intervention, Dr. Phil offered to help with his treatment. Gordon has apparently been suffering “severe pain, mental anguish and panic attacks.”

Gordon has made the news recently for his appeals to the public and on social media to be allowed to see Bobbi Kristina while she is in the hospital. While the family has repeatedly turned him away, they have said recently that they would allow him in if he will tell them what happened that day.

“Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe. At least not desperate enough to inform Bobby Brown, in writing, what happened to Bobbi Kristina,” lawyer Christopher Brown said.
