Weekend Update segment anchors Michael Che and Colin Jost ripped into neurosurgeon and potential GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson for his recent remarks about homosexuality being a choice.
“Dr. Ben Carson, a neurosurgeon,” Che began, “said that homosexuality is a choice because many people go to prison straight, but when they come out, they’re gay. Kind of like how in that last sentence, Carson went in as a neurosurgeon and came out as a complete idiot.”
They continued to blast Carson’s views for a few more stories, until Jost apologized for “piling on.”
