It’s the kind of compliment anyone of a certain age likes to hear: “You look young for your age,” or something like that.
Michelle Obama is no different.
The first lady hosted a group of Washington, D.C. foster kids and other youth Wednesday for the White House’s annual event honoring “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.”
The question and answer session covered a wide range of topics, but then a little girl cut straight to the chase —
“How old are you?” the young girl asked Mrs. Obama.
After repeating her question to the audience, the first lady answered: “I’m 51.”

The age question may have thrown FLOTUS for a loop, but then the young girl said something that made her flash a wide smile:
“You’re too young for 51,” the girl said.
The first lady asked a member of her staff to give the girl a microphone so she could repeat her compliment. The little girl said it again, which prompted Obama to invite her up for a hug.
The moment drew an audible “Aww” from everyone in attendance.
