Rapper Rick ross was arrested this morning and is facing kidnapping and assault charges.
Ross was taken into custody at 6:30 a.m. this morning at his Fayette County, Georgia, mansion by a U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force.
Jim Joyner, a supervisor with the Marshals’ Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, tells The Associated Press that Ross was taken into custody this morning and is being held in the Fayette County jail on charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
Ross’ bodyguard, whose name wasn’t released, faces the same charges.
According to to TMZ, the incident in question happened two weeks ago with a man doing work at his home. Ross is said to have pistol whipped the man — and then refused to allow him to leave.
