For his final 4th of July Jam as Philadelphia’s mayor, Michael Nutter gave what appeared to be the performance of his life.
Mayor Nutter, accompanied by The Roots, brought the crowd to its feet with a “drop the mic” rendition of The Sugar Hill Gang’s classic hit, Rapper’s Delight.
The crowd was so surprised by the mayor’s performance of the song, many took to social media to express their excitement.
