The partnership between LeBron James’ company and Warner Brothers became official Wednesday.
Could a Space Jam reboot be next?
If the Internet has its way, the answer is yes.
James’ SpringHill Entertainment and Warner Bros. signed a “content creation deal,” according to the Associated Press. It could be movies, TV, digital shorts – you name it.
“To be able to partner with Warner Bros. will allow me to do some things I’ve always dreamed of,” James said in a statement, noting that he had been trying to branch out into entertainment for a while now.
According to Capital New York’s Alex Weprin, Warner Bros. filed new trademarks for “Space Jam” last month. Michael Jordan made the movie famous, LeBron could take it to the next level.
