Nick Gordon broke his silence for the first time since Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death.
Gordon took to Twitter to express his sorrow. His account has been private since June, but screenshots of the tweets have been circulating around the internet.
“I’m so happy/blessed that I had @REALbkBrown in my life. i will always & forever love you,” he tweeted. And added in a second tweet, “I look at our pics sometimes it makes me smile sometime I cry @REALbkBrown #happymemories.”
Gordon, who is in the middle of a storm of accusations against him in a wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of Bobbi Kristina, was not welcome at her funeral and had to go somewhere else to mourn her loss, according to his mother, Michele Gordon.
“Nick went to the beach with me on Friday during the services,” she told People. “He said the beach was always their favorite place to go, so he decided that he would honor her at a place that they both loved.”
Before Bobbi Kristina died, Gordon was hit with a $10 million lawsuit alleging that he had not only been abusive toward Bobbi Kristina but that he had also been stealing money from her. After her death, a complaint was also lodged against him, further accusing him in the wrongful death of Bobbi Kristina, who was found unconscious and unresponsive, facedown in a bathtub, several months previously.
