Woman says she received a 'vulgar' receipt from pizza shop

A New Jersey woman was shocked when she got her receipt from a local pizza place and saw the “vulgar” comments written on it.

“I just had to shake my head because I couldn’t believe it,” Loretta Smith Layne told NBC10.

Layne had ordered her wings “fried hard” from Danny’s Pizza Pizzazz in Bridgeton, but she noticed that the “special instructions” on the delivery receipt were much more vulgar than what she had asked for.

The receipt contained the “special instructions:” “Fried hard like a black d***” and “d***.”

“I was very offended and upset and disrespected to get those words on a receipt,” Layne said.

Although the manager denied that the receipt came from Danny’s Pizza Pizzazz, Layne showed NBC10 text messages that allegedly came from Danny Sommeling in which he apologized for the actions of his son, the manager, and said that his son had made a bad decision that was “definitely not professional.”

“He needs to realize what he’s done,” Layne said. “It’s not acceptable. Not to me. And I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I went through.”
