On Thursday night, legendary producer Quncy Jones was rushed to the hospital for shortness of breath after suffering chest pains, but his reps have since said that he is “fine.”
“He had some shortness of breath and in an abundance of caution he went in for observation. He is fine though,” his rep said.
The 82-year-old was in his home in Bel-Air when he began to feel ill and called for an ambulance to take him to the hospital, according to TMZ. However, according to his rep, he is now recovering and doing fine.

Jones is best known for his work as a producer on Michael Jackson’s smash hit albums Off the Wall, Thriller and Bad, his career spans six decades in the music and film industry.
He has earned a total of 79 Grammy Award nominations and won 27 Grammys, including a Grammy Legend Award in 1991.
