Azealia Banks is in serious trouble with the LGBT community.
In a since-deleted tweet, the rapper said, “LGBT community (GGGG) are like the gay white KKK’s. Get them some pink hoods and unicorns and let them rally down rodeo drive.”
Banks was reacting to the backlash against her by the gay community after video surfaced of her shouting a gay slur at a flight attendant.
She later called members of a gay community “weak.”

She has used the phrase “GGGG” before to criticize the community for prioritizing gay men over other members of the community. Last week, she tweeted, “Because it’s not really LGBT. It’s (expletive) GGGG and I’m sick of gay white men having control of the LGBT conversation.”
In 2014, she had also claimed that she used the homophobic slur to criticize what she sees as misogyny in white gay men. “A lot of gay men are way more misogynistic than straight men,” she said. “The (expletive) they say about women behind their backs, it’s like: ‘Wow, oh my God!’ … A f***** is anybody that hates women. It’s like, y’all sing along to my words when I’m saying [expletives leveled at black people and women], but as soon as I call this one white man a f***** the whole world exploded.”
