OJ Simpson almost killed himself in Kim Kardashian's bedroom before white Bronco police chase

On Wednesday, LMN’s documentary “The Secret Tapes of the OJ Case” aired, and we learned several secrets about OJ Simpson’s life, including more information about his suicidal spiral in the 90s.

On June 17, 1994, Simpson was hiding out in the home of his lawyer friend, Robert Kardashian. He was sitting in the bedroom of teenage Kim Kardashian as he contemplated ending his life, and he recorded a suicide tape.

“Please remember me as ‘The Juice,'” he pleaded in the tape.

“Please remember me as a good guy. Don’t remember me as one of the negatives that might end up here. Please, please, please, please leave my kids at peace. I love everybody.”

He went on to say that he “got very lonely at times these years,” and yet he admitted that he had continued to keep up appearances.

“Everybody loved me but I don’t know why,” he said. “Things in my life just caught up to me.”

Robert Kardashian said that he found Simpson “sitting there with a gun and his pictures of his kids and of Nicole.”

“And then O.J. said ‘I’m gonna kill myself in this room.’ And I said, you can’t. This is my daughter’s bedroom,” Kardashian said in recorded interviews before his death in 2003. “I can’t have my little girl in this bedroom and every time I come in here I’m gonna see your body.”

After that, Simpson would infamously get into his white Bronco, intending to kill himself, before he was chased down by police until he eventually surrendered.
