Florida parent punches referee at high school football game

First players intentionally hitting refs, now parents?

A Florida high school parent was caught on camera punching a referee in the face as the crowd at a football game stormed the field, reports WESH.

Leo Davis, 36, took his frustration out on the referee, who had apparently made a call during the Saturday night game that angered parents and coaches for Liberty High School.

Investigators were able to track down Davis as he was speeding away from the school and then arrest him. He has been charged with battery and was booked into the Osceola County Jail.

As for the referee, he suffered minor injuries, but he is expected to be okay.
