14-year-old girl run over by car and seriously injured during street fight

DeBreanna Hunter was walking with her friends and little sister to pick up their little brother from school when she was hit by a car and left in the road with half her body broken.

According to DeBreanna’s mother, Aurelia Hunter, DeBreanna was just outside Cullen Middle School when the fight broke out, and DeBreanna rushed to defend her friend and fists flew.

“She was jumped by seven little girls and she still walked away from that,” said Aurelia.

But as the fight continued, a new danger presented itself suddenly, and DeBreanna’s little sister, DeAsia, had to jump out of the way as a car came bursting through a gate.

“She did a u-turn and busts through the gates and went on the track,” said DeAsia.

The entire incident was captured on video, and Aurelia watched as her daughter was plowed over by the car. “That’s my daughter underneath the car and she just drives off like move or get hit or die. Phones flying.People running.” Aurelia said.

DeBreanna was left in the road after being hit. “Her body is broken from the waist down. Just broken,” said Aurelia.

DeBreanna is still in the hospital, and a GoFundMe account has been set up for her. In the meantime, Aurelia hopes they catch the person who was driving the car.

“She will have to look me and my daughter in our faces and I want to know why would you hit her and leave her for dead like roadkill,” said Aurelia.
