Conjoined twins who shared heart and liver pass away

Chance and Chandler Crafton, conjoined twins who shared a heart and liver, passed away this week in Augusta, Georgia.

The twins died after multiple medical procedures, the Children’s Hospital of Georgia said. They were only two days old, having been delivered on Monday.

They were the first set of conjoined twins to be delivered at the Georgia Regents Medical Center.

Brittany Crafton, the twins’ mother, is in good condition but has asked that the media and public respect her privacy and that of her family.

GoFundMe page has been set up in order to help the family pay for medical expenses.
