Fox anchor wonders if protester ‘staring’ at officer is ‘appropriate’

Megyn Kelly is concerned, ya’ll.

A unidentified protester was captured on video “staring” at a Chicago police officer. Hundreds of demonstrators took to the streets following the release of the Laquan McDonald shooting video.

One protester decided he would engage in a good ol’ fashioned staredown with an officer.

Enter the faux outrage from the aforementioned Fox anchor.

“This is a cop out there accused of doing nothing wrong, trying to keep the peace,” Kelly lamented, according to Mediaite.

“He gets right in his face and stares him down?” Kelly later pleaded after her guest described the act as a silent protest. “This cop hasn’t done anything wrong,” she continued.

Who knows why the protester decided to do this, specifically. Maybe it was a silent protest or a statement of sorts.

It’s certainly within his rights to do so. And he certainly wasn’t provoking the officer into any kind of action.

When Kelly realized the conversation was going nowhere fast, she redirected to more faux outrage:

What about black on black crime?

Rinse, repeat. Rinse, repeat.
