Ayesha Curry is not here for your online pics wearing next-to-nothing.
The cooking guru wife of NBA MVP Steph Curry tweeted her fashion preferences Saturday night and Twitter had some thoughts.
Ayesha said she “likes to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters,” referring to her Warriors guard hubby.
Everyone's into barely wearing clothes these days huh? Not my style. I like to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters 😂😂😂

She also added a follow-up tweet:
Just looking at the latest fashion trends. I'll take classy over trendy any day of the week. #saturdaynightinsight

Not surprisingly, some Twitter users (trolls) took her tweet as a form of shade to women who do choose to dress more liberally. Ayesha was engaging in a form of slut-shaming, some suggested.

@ayeshacurry you can be classy and show a lot of skin though.

Ayesha quickly reiterated she was sharing her preference, which was not a license to put other women down.
Regardless of if you like my "style of clothes" or not (which I don't care) please do not tear women down and degrade them… Not cool peeps

Her MVP husband defended her series of tweets Sunday night in an interview with Comcast SportsNet’s Rosalyn Gold-Onwude:
Spoke w/ Steph Curry about Ayesha's tweets. Said he was surprised ppl took offense to it. He thought Twitter was for expressing opinions.
